Nudes

This Website contains a collection of fine art nude photographs. The galleries feature female nudes. The images you can view here are creative artistic photographs. If you are offended by nudity, or if you are looking for different kinds of photographs, this is not the site for you. Black and White

The objective here is not simply to present the body in detail, clearly lit and always in sharp focus, but to look at the shapes of the body in a different way. For instance, I choose to use black and white shadings in much of my work to provide a level of abstraction. It changes the focus of attention from detail to underlying form.

Female forms

Many of the female figures you will see in these pages have been lit with strong side lighting and have deep shadows since this lighting pattern heightens the impression of three dimensionality in these two dimensional images. Some images deliberately emphasize the grain of the photographic film to create interesting texture. Other images use deliberate optical distortion to emphasize some shapes while downplaying others.
